Building a Climate-Ready Future for Morro Bay and Los Osos
Along California’s Central Coast, the road between Morro Bay and Los Osos connects people, neighborhoods, and nature. Rising seas and stronger storms now threaten that vital link.
In partnership with the San Luis Obispo Council of Governments (SLOCOG), Environmental Science Associates (ESA), RRM Design Group, and the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, we helped bring this story to life through immersive technology. Our Sea Level Rise Explorer: Morro Bay lets residents visualize future flooding, explore adaptation options, and see what a climate-ready future could look like. Storytelling can drive understanding and inspire action. This project shows how collaboration and innovation can strengthen our communities and coastlines.
