Coastal Explorer

As coastal communities contend with coastal hazards including more frequent flooding and coastal erosion, public education has become a critical piece of the puzzle. This experience was produced to help the town of Bower's Beach, DE to better understand these impacts and explore emerging solutions. The town is developing its first-ever Coastal Resilience Plan, to help the community prepare for the impacts of rising waters and big storms. Coastal adaptation requires access to data as well as vision, imagination, and engineering. There are some things we can do in the near term to keep people in their homes as long as possible without limiting our options for the future. Join us to learn more!
